We, GAR, organized a workshop titled “The Other Side of Migration: Afghan Migrants” on February 8, 2018, in Salt Galata, İstanbul. Among the workshop participants were graduate students who work on Afghan migrants and refugees as well as scholars and civil society representatives. The aim of the workshop was to provide a platform through which junior scholars come together, exchange ideas and develop future collaborations.
We, GAR, organized a workshop titled “The Other Side of Migration: Afghan Migrants” on February 8, 2018, in Salt Galata, İstanbul. Among the workshop participants were graduate students who work on Afghan migrants and refugees as well as scholars and civil society representatives. At the end of the workshop, we watched two documentaries: Ferhad Aivazi’s “We go around and around” (25’) and İhsan Gülcan’s “In between Afghanistan and Küçüksu” (7’ 23’’).
